The Insurance Authority won the Leading Federal Authority Award this year in Human Resources Management and the category of Learning and Development at the third edition of the UAE Award for Human Resources in the Federal Government launched by the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources.
HE Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansouri, Minister of Economy and Chairman of the Insurance Authority, said that the Authority's winning of this award confirms the success of the strategies and policies adopted by the Authority in the field of developing human resources and improving its performance and the correctness of its vision to the human element as a pillar of development and progress, Which reflects the wise vision of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE and the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai.
He added: "The winning of the Insurance Authority of the UAE Human Resources Award is an addition to the series of achievements and successes reached by the Authority in various fields over the past years so that excellence has become an essential approach of performance and development to achieve the vision of the UAE as one of the best countries in the world.
He confirmed that the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs, of the UAE award for Human Resources in the federal government indicates the advanced level of performance reached by the federal human resources and the government's keenness on the proper application of the regulations and legislations issued in this regards in line with the aspirations of the wise leadership and with global best practices.
His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, had honored the Insurance Authority and other federal entities at the end of last week for winning the UAE Awards for Human Resources in the federal government.
The Insurance Authority winning of the Award of the Leading Entity in human resources came as a result of the implementation of electronic systems and completing all procedures according to the issued laws and transparency of results in proportion to the reality with all categories of balanced performance card and the winner of the category of Learning and Development in application of the development of the training strategy in the Authority and its reflection on the electronic services systems and the method to achieve a higher level of learning and development processes.
HE, The Minister of Economy and Chairman of the Insurance Authority said that the development of the human resources performance in the Authority and raising their practical and productive level is a strategic objective of the Authority based on the directives of the wise leadership of the UAE and strategic government initiatives to contribute to achieve the UAE vision of 2021.
HE stressed on the Authority keen interest to provide all circumstances for its employees in order to create, give and innovate in all fields related to the work of the Authority, the sector and the national economy in order to serve the comprehensive development process in the UAE, pointing to the importance of education and training in accelerating the process of transition to the cognitive economy and the role of qualifying the human resources in the advancement of the economic and social development process.
HE explained that the Authority has worked continuously and in different mechanisms during the last years to draw the best standards for the development of human resources performance at the level of the Authority and the sector and to promote a culture of quality and excellence for all employees and was keen to involve them in internal and external courses to enhance their creative abilities, which reflected positively on the performance of the Authority and its operations ,as well as, the performance of the insurance sector within the national economy.
HE, the Minister of Economy and Chairman of the Insurance Authority congratulated the employees of the Authority on this great achievement. He called for exerting more efforts in the service of the UAE and enhancing its leadership and global competitiveness during this important stage, which is witnessing a race towards progress and development of civilization and technology.
The Emirates Award for Human Resources in the Federal Government is divided into two categories." The first is to honor the distinguished federal entities according to six categories: the leading authority in general level in Human Resources Management, the winner on the category of Operations, the winner on the Learning and Development category, the winner on the Financial category, the winner on the category of Customers and Best Developing Authorities ", and four practices which are " Best Practice for a Friendly Working Atmosphere for the People of Determination - Best Practice in Professional Health and Safety in the Working Atmosphere - Best Practices in Functional Prosperity in the Working Atmosphere - and finally reading and knowledge .. While, the second category focuses on the distinguished persons and is divided into two categories: "the category of Excellent Leader in Human Resources and the category of Human Resources Knight ".
The UAE Human Resources Award aims at empowering federal government employees and motivating federal entities to adhere to and properly implement human resources regulations and legislation for federal government employees, which enhance the unique position of the UAE as a global center of excellence and an ideal place for talents and talented.
